                 50,000 Pieces of Clothing Donated to Folsom Food Bank
                              Local Women In Need Receive Clothing

Folsom, CA - Thursday, November 09, 2006 - It was announced today that the Belle Mode Consignment Boutique has donated over 50,000 pieces of women’s clothing to the Twin Lakes Food Bank. Over the last several years Belle Mode has donated their consignors clothing exclusively to the Twin Lakes Food Bank. The clothing included jackets, dresses, pants, shirts, blouses and shoes. The result has been that many local women in need have clothing that they can be proud to wear.

“The generosity of our consignors has been overwhelming. Many women bring in new clothing that has never been worn and are proud to donate it to the food bank after its been in the store for 90 days,” said Nancy Darrah, owner of Belle Mode. “The clothing that is donated is in wonderful condition and many times has only been worn once or twice,” said Darrah.

The clothing is distributed by the Twin Lakes Food Bank to local needy women. “We are excited about the relationship we have had with Belle Mode over the years. Their generosity has helped many local women,” said Kathy Boone, Twin Banks manager.

Belle Mode Consignment Boutique Belle Mode Consignment Boutique was founded in 2002 to provide a local source for women to consign clothing, shoes and accessories. They are Folsom’s and El Dorado Hills only women’s designer clothing consignment boutique. Located on Bidwell Street in the Target Shopping Center behind Carl’s Jr. in Folsom.

Twin Lake Foodbank The Twin Lakes Food Bank is a Christian, non-profit organization that helps families in need with supplemental food and clothing. Whether disadvantaged by unexpected and troubled times, or a family living day-to-day in need, the Twin Lakes Food Bank has opened its heart to thousands of local residents since 1986.
